The Wisconsin Grilled Cheese Championship is an event for grilled cheese enthusiasts to test their grilling skills against one another. It is a competition that is open to the public to watch or participate in. It was created by the Iowa County Area Economic Development Corporation (ICAEDC) as an event to promote Wisconsin’s Dairy Industry. In 2014, the Annual Grilled Cheese Championship made its move to Dodgeville, WI from Mineral Point, WI. It is presently hosted by the Dodgeville Area Chamber of Commerce.

This is a day of fun for the whole family at the Wisconsin Grilled Cheese Championship!
Everyone is welcome to enjoy the competition as either a competitor or spectator. For your viewing pleasure there will be bleachers set up to be able to take in all of the sights and smells. There are a limited number of VIP Tickets available for purchase to be able to enjoy competition level sandwiches. There is also scrumptious food prepared by the food vendors, shopping from great vendors and exhibitors at the event. For young children we also have a children's area with various activities. For the adults, we offer beer and wine in a designated area where you can purchase locally produced beverages.
